Scientific experiments are more likely to be accepted when the results can be replicated. This equivalates to A LOT of trial and error in the kitchen. Some of my best tasting concoctions were driven via qualitative measures; color, taste, and smell. While I have included measurements and serving sizes, I encourage you to adjust to your liking! This growing list of recipes vary in serving sizes. They are not intended to prescribe or supplement dietary needs but are combinations of ingredients that I have put together because they simply make me feel good. PLANET LOVE:
A plant-based diet is certainly favorable in sustaining our planet. Consuming less meat (especially beef) can greatly reduce greenhouse emissions and cut back on deforestation. You don’t need to eliminate meat altogether - Simply increasing your daily intake of plants can certainly reduce your carbon footprint! The greatest measurement that only you can determine is through trusting your gut and listening to your body’s hunger cues and signals. Focus on how you feel and what’s reflected through your skin!

Smoothies:
While I prefer to eat my food, smoothies are my “go-to” for a quick dose of nutrition when I’m rushing out the door. I use unsweetened nut milk for the liquid and add a plant based protein powder along with fat/fiber from seeds or nut butters! I almost always add several servings of fresh spinach or kale to all of my smoothies for an added antioxidant boost! It’s easy to adjust ingredient portions to your liking! Sweetness can easily be adjusted with a drizzle of maple syrup, raw honey, or monk fruit.
Desserts:
While I’ll never deprive myself from a vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles or a homemade chocolate chip cookie (moderation!) These are my tried and true faves that satisfy my cravings while supporting my skin in a sweet, healthier way!
Mocktails & Cocktails
Hydrate while you sip - go for crushed ice, spritzers, glass water between beverages to make sure you are hydrating while enjoying your drinks. Mocktails are a fun way to mix it up or to take a break from booze altogether.
